The places we go are of such unique beauty, that they are truly timeless, as if they have no beginning and no end...
We create off-the-beaten-path adventures for small groups of people who love being in Nature. Our time together in these natural settings offers the possibility of developing lasting bonds with each other, creating a real sense of community.
Often, we go to remote places that would be difficult for an individual to plan for and handle the potential challenges of traveling alone. Being part of a small group can make the trip more affordable while allowing solo travelers the opportunity to do something that they could not do in isolation. I have witnessed how enriching and supportive it can be when the small group morphs into a small community, with friendships that endure long past the trip.
An adventure usually begins with an idea about somewhere we've been before, and grows to include a couple friends in Denver, or Baja, an acquaintance in Calgary, and then someone may see our event on the website, or on Facebook and join us. This "ripple effect" adds more folks to our growing community of friends all the time. Often, they stay connected for years...

These journeys are to places we know intimately, and rather than a "tourist trip", they often involve friends who live in our destination and become part of our group. They may be our guides, or people we've met over the years and they add something very special to our experience. We discover that there are no strangers, only friends we may not yet have met.
"The traveller sees what he sees, the tourist sees what he has come to see" ~ Gilbert K. Chesterton
We organize trips like this because we have been greatly moved by a place and want to share it with others. Sometimes, we've even lived in those place. For instance, I have lived in Botswana in southern Africa, in Baja, Mexico, and now in mainland Mexico. Connecting folks to Nature, and creating community is our passion. We are not tour directors. We think of these trips as "field trips for friends", where we handle all of the organizational matters to make it easy. Once we arrive at our destination, a guide - who also happens to be a good friend - joins us.
These adventures are not for everyone. If you do join us on one of these small group adventures, you will be an intrinsic part of the group, as each person brings their unique participation as the adventure unfolds.
"Trying to find one's way, to listen to the intuitive self, can be challenging. Daily life has a way of keeping a person distracted. Deb uses fun, her innate wisdom and insight to connect us with our authentic selves, and does it in a way in which we feel safe". ~Beth Avner, La Jolla, CA

"I have been on many of Deb's adventures, over the years. She is a person really in touch with the earth but at the same time also in touch with the spiritual nature of our existence. And she knows how that can be understood by travelling to new destinations and observing the wildlife, the geography and the people". Timothy Harris, Ph.D., Boston, MA
