I've been exploring Baja since 1983, for many years with a group of dedicated bush pilots, authors, geologists, and old-time adventurers, and in later years, alone. I lived in Todos Santos and La Paz over a 5 year period recently, and think of this 800-mile long peninsula south of San Diego as those adventurers describe it best - the last frontier.
"The very air here is miraculous, and outlines of reality change with the moment. The sky sucks up the land and disgorges it. A dream hangs over the whole region, a brooding kind of hallucination."
-- John Steinbeck, Log from the Sea of Cortez

I hope I can introduce you to this spectacular place, or re-connect you to parts of it you may not have discovered! Check the links under this page for trips that we offer…from cave paintings, whale trips, bird-watching, spending time in small mountain villages with the "Californio's", or just lazing on an isolated beach that few have ever experienced. It is a place where it is impossible not to feel connected to Nature!
A few years ago, I asked Deb to take me on one of her Baja adventures, although I'd never been camping, or off-roading, especially to any of the remote places she knows so well. We spent two weeks in some of the most beautiful places imaginable, and at times it was a real challenge for me to do things so out of my comfort zone. The things I learned to do on that trip, gave me the courage to do so much more in my life, even now!
